• Tutor account data: name, email, phone number, city, subjects, classes, and profile details you provide.
• Parent/student requirements:the student’s class, subjects, area, and the parent’s contact number submitted when posting a requirement.
• Payment data: handled by Razorpay. We receive only confirmation and order references — never your full card or banking credentials.
• Usage data: points balance, unlock history, and basic technical logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Platform — create accounts, post requirements, and process unlocks.
• To process point purchases and credit points after a successful payment.
• To show tutors relevant student requirements and reveal contact details after unlock.
• To communicate service updates, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse.

3. Contact Number Visibility

A parent/student’s phone number is masked on listings and is revealed to a tutor only after that tutor spends points to unlock that specific requirement. We do not publicly display contact numbers.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) our payment processor Razorpay to complete transactions; (b) infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting and database) that operate the Platform on our behalf; and (c) authorities where required by law.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is fully secure.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Note that we may retain certain records (such as payment ledgers) where required by law.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core features. We do not use cookies to sell your data to third parties.

8. Children

Tutor accounts are for adults (18+). Where a parent posts a requirement on behalf of a minor, the parent is responsible for the information provided.
